Wacom Releases the New Cintiq Pro 24 and 32

Like a contractor’s hammer, a Wacom pen tablet is a mandatory piece of hardware for any creative looking to become a retoucher. The pen-to-paper-like experience allows the creative to work with greater precision and finesse, which is otherwise not attainable using a traditional computer mouse.

While coveted Wacom tablets are standard for most, they certainly aren’t the only piece of gear to take your work to the next level. If you’re looking for something more, consider Wacom’s line of gorgeous Cintiq displays, which now has two new arrivals: the Cintiq Pro 24 and 32.

The Cintiq Pro offers the most natural pen experience to date, using an etched glass screen that provides a distinct, tactile experience as you draw, mimicking the feel of a pen on paper while reducing unwanted glare and reflections. It has a built in stand which angles the display at 20 degrees for better ergonomics and comfort.

Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine

One of the more notable features is an add-on option called the Cintiq Pro Engine, which is an attachable PC module that transforms the display into a standalone computer system. The Pro Engine model features high-power processors, including Intel® Xeon® (depending on the model), NVIDIA® Quadro® graphics, and user-upgradable SSDs and memory (up to 32GB). Its innovative design attaches seamlessly into the back of your Cintiq Pro 24 or 32, eliminating tangles of cables, and creating a convenient working environment.

The Wacom Pro 24 was recently released last March and its bigger sibling the Cintiq Pro 32 will be available in May 2018.
