As of March 25th, 2025, Adobe will no longer allow the creation of multiple Adobe Stock Contributor accounts without written approval.
This quiet but important policy shift signals Adobe’s intent to streamline its contributor ecosystem, affecting not only photographers but all visual artists and content creators who license their work on the platform.
According to Adobe, having only one account helps your content perform better. It makes your portfolio easier to find, helps buyers see more of your work in one place, and gives you clearer performance stats.
‼️ If you already have more than one account, you don’t need to do anything; your existing accounts can stay.
Going forward, if you need to open another account, for example, to separate your beauty portfolio from your graphic design work, you will now need to request Adobe’s approval by following the Account and Submission Guidelines.
Adobe will require phone verification for all new contributor accounts. This step is meant to keep accounts secure and reduce fake or duplicate profiles.
