WORKSHOP PROGRAM
Organized by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and taught by Julia Kuzmenko, this 2-day photography workshop will cover industry standard working strategies used in shooting and in high-end retouching of beauty photography – cosmetic, fashion, hairstyling and advertising – from start to finish.
Over the two days Julia will be covering how to work with the main lighting modifiers used in beauty photography such as the beauty dish, soft boxes, color gels, grids, reflectors, etc… while working from an intuitive, feeling approach with an eye to the taste and contemporary trends of the fashion beauty photography world.
From the look and makeup of the model to the creation of the most flattering beauty lighting. From the interaction between the photographer and the model to the choice of the “right” picture. From the RAW optimization to the most advanced retouching techniques… we will go through the entire process of the creation of striking beauty images from start to end.
Each participant will have the opportunity to experiment with different lighting techniques and you will be personally assisted by Julia to receive tips and advice in relation to your personal style and errors.
